Suite of welfare units delivered in Buntingford

Case Study Spotlight: Buntingford Welfare Buildings

Project Overview
When a client near Buntingford recognised the need to significantly improve on-site welfare facilities, they turned to Midlands Portable Buildings to deliver fast, high-quality spaces for staff comfort and productivity.

The Brief
The requirement was clear: deliver a suite of welfare units—including a canteen, a drying room, an open-plan office, and toilets—to support the team’s wellbeing and operations, all within a working yard and warehouse setup in Buntingford.

Our Solution

  • 32ft × 10 ft canteen and drying room, installed inside the client’s warehouse

  • 20ft × 10 ft open-plan office, also positioned inside for convenient access

  • 10ft × 10 ft 2+1 male and female toilet block, situated externally for yard staff use

These buildings were carefully transported from our Hixon facility and expertly “skated” into position using machine skates to navigate tight warehouse space. Our delivery team included labour support to ensure smooth installation and perfect placement.
